Your company is a great asset to this neighbourhood.

Matt and Riley are fantastic!  They will be finished shortly.

Matt and Riley repaired my raccoon shingle damage in the spring and so I got them to check the same spot.  The raccoons did a bit more damage and they repaired it again.

Thanks again for another fantastic roofing job.  Your company is a great asset to this neighbourhood.

Very happy with the response

Toronto Roofing Industries replaced our roof in 2005.  During the huge rainstorm on July 16, 2024, when two leaks on our third floor roof caused interior damage to two rooms on the second floor, I decided to call TRI first.

I was impressed by the quick response (less than an hour) to my email/call regarding a roof leak causing interior damage.  As promised, you and your team arrived on time the next day to investigate the leak, discuss a plan, and schedule work for the following day.  When the team didn’t show when expected, there was a quick response to my inquiry advising me of a scheduling change to the afternoon.  The team arrived after lunch and the two guys on the job were polite, respectful, and cleaned up after.

Unfortunately, rain a week later resulted in leaks again in one of the same places.  Again, immediate phone response to my email/call, with the same work team arriving the same day to look at the problem, and back the next day (on time as scheduled) to do the work.  Again, polite,  respectful, and cleaned up afterwards.

We were very happy with the response, care, and professionalism of everyone we dealt with at TRI.

Will be recommending you

I enjoyed working with you. Thank you for being professional and going above and beyond with the job (taking photos for me, etc.). Will be recommending you and your company to my friends in Toronto!

Don’t be scammed

Beach residents warned of potential roofing scammer in area

Beach residents are being reminded to be wary on ongoing roofing and renovation scams in the area.

East Toronto residents are reminded to be aware of scams involving people claiming to be roofers looking to do work.

A local and legitimate roofing company, Toronto Roofing Industries Ltd., let Beach Metro Community News know this week that they had heard from a number of area residents who said they had been approached recently by people trying to conduct roofing scams along Kingswood Road.

“We had two phone calls right after another (on Wednesday, Aug. 13) that a man in his 30s wearing a vest with reflector tape on it and driving a black truck has knocked on doors on Kingswood Road saying they have shingles missing and to call his ‘partner’. Within the last two weeks we’ve had customers calling saying they’ve been scammed and this so-called roofer has actually removed shingles from their roof,” said Toronto Roofing’s note to Beach Metro Community News.

Tim Mulroy of Toronto Roofing said the person trying to scam residents is using scare tactics to try and get people to agree to unnecessary work on their roofs. “Don’t react to what they say and do not let them on your roof or property,” he said of the scammers.

Toronto police are aware of the situation and in the past have warned residents to be wary of those who approach their homes offering unsolicited roofing services.

As part of an earlier news release, Toronto police said residents should consider the following safety tips:

  • Be wary of any unsolicited persons offering a service, such as roofing repairs
  • Do not be rushed into making a decision
  • Look for paperwork with company letterhead, such as contracts
  • Contact the alleged company by phone to ensure the person is employed by them
  • Do not provide a large down payment
  • Be wary of unsolicited contractors going door to door, especially those using pressure tactics and demanding advance payment in cash
  • Avoid impulse decisions to hire a contractor
  • Do your research
  • There is no obligation to speak to a salesperson soliciting at your door
  • Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is

Grateful

We are grateful to Toronto Roofing Industries for coming to fix our roof yesterday. We were worried about the next rain coming along getting into the house through the area where the tiles had been removed.

Good advice

Thank you for sending your guys.  They did a great job and gave really good advice.

Very pleased

Thanks for your recent work on my house.  I was very pleased with the speed and cleanliness your team got the job done in.  The gutters look great, I can’t imagine anything starting to grow in there again!

Recommended by a friend

This roofing company was recommended  by a friend.  I checked with several other companies and am glad that I decided on Toronto Roofing Industries.  They answered my questions, sent pictures when I requested and all done  immediately.  They inspected the roof and did not push, but informed me what was needed if I chose.  They finished the section of the roof in one day, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves.  I would certainly recommend them, should any of my friends ask.

On time

Thank you for completing the roofing on time and cleaning up afterwards.  They picked up the bin the same day, which was great.
